Oneshot Scores a 6 pt.
Not the biggest I've ever seen in the woods but he was a heavy deer.
8:15 in the morning by the house, Sunday Oct. 7.
Last deer was in '09 Up North in Gladwin Co.
24 yd. shot, 1/4 away arrow struck just inside the vitals to the rear, and went through his lungs and exited just inside his front R. shoulder, on a downward angle and broke in 1/2, with the vanes and several inches of arrow still inside.
Thought I lost him after he went 45 yds. and lost blood, and thought he went into the neighbors corn, but no blood there, so I figured he stayed in the woods and began walking N. parallel to the woods, and I noticed he was following a rubline, and then I found him shortly after. He traversed a total of around 68 yards.

I can hear your lips smacking now from the roast, backstraps, hamburger, sausage & jerky from this guy. Enjoy your harvest.

Nice shooting - and tracking.

Any deer taken with a bow is special. Getting deer into bow range requires many more skills than hunting with a rifle.
Nice job putting meat on the table.

According to the date stamp on the picture you bagged it on 02.12.2012, and are just now posting it.....sounds suspicious to me! J/K
Congrats on the deer, when's the cook out?

nice... Archery just opened for us on the 6th I believe. Although it's been warm so late this year I'll probably wait. I don't like to go out until after the first good frost...kill off some of those buggers.

Tell the truth, you been feeding him doughnuts in the backyard getting him fat.LOL

Very nice! Many years ago I sold my bow to pay a bill and never did replace it. I really miss archery and could get back into it in a heartbeat. Well done oneshot!
