    Operation Jubilee?

I got this email today... weird.

Subject: Operation Jubilee - Rules of Engagement.
    From: Anonymous(at)operationjubilee(dot)in

    Body:
Protests like those in Greece and OWS, the recent surrounding of the Congress building in Madrid and most previous protests have failed, because the protesters allowed the police to provoke and arrest individuals, one or two at a time, whilst everyone else let them get away with it, with an “I’m alright Jack” attitude, until it’s their turn, of course.

Reverend Martin Niemoller famously stated - "In Germany, the Nazis first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, but I didn't speak up because I was a protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."

The difference with Operation Jubilee, for it to succeed, is that it MUST be an all for one and one for all event; acting as one body, and any and all policemen who lay their hands on anyone protesting peacefully, especially Muad’Dib, will be citizen's arrested, using their own handcuffs against them. This will help the protest to turn out differently, for once.

Both the people and the police need to know the rules that the people will be guided by. So that; if or when they attempt what they are likely to attempt (dragging away an individual); they will see that the people will do exactly what they said they would do, and that they have to keep their hands off peaceful protestors.

Any weapons used against the people will be confiscated, by the people.

THEY will try to lay down their fraudulent rules, falsely claiming they are laying down and enforcing the law, when they are NOT. If it isn’t in the Bible, it is NOT a law, but a fraudulent piece of man-made legislation. So tell them that, and ignore their unlawful fraudulent orders. If they try to enforce fraudulent legislation, they will be committing a crime against the people, and thus are criminals who must be arrested, irrespective of their appearance.

In order to prevent THEM from saying that the operation’s rules would be an excuse for anarchists to do as they like, any wrong-doers among the people, will also be arrested by the people. That will also take care of any agent provocateurs/undercover cops - the ones who throw things, etc, in order to provoke a police charge and brutality.

Peacefully protesting against treason, corruption and injustice is Lawful, and anybody who attempts to deny someone's right to do so is committing a crime, and will be arrested.

You'll notice I've kept DC's parser from making the links useable... that's up to you

I suspect that someone has hacked an email list for a company I purchase software from... in the UK.

I just find it very odd and chilling... Sounds very socialist in their goals and objectives... and yet claim to want to do everything peacefully... hmmmm...

kinda like a flash mob on Parliament square...

Well, I won't be attending.... looks like tickets would be ~$650 round trip... Just not in the budget, sorry. But wait... if they are going to cancel all debt... what if I charge it? Nah.

Very odd... but you might want to watch the international news for November 5th 2012... that's when they hope to pull this off..

It annoys me when people try to use the Bible for their own selfish gain. It appears that an unruly mob of criminals is trying to organize itself into something more formidable. Nothing new under the sun today.

I agree... but it will be interesting to see if anything happens that day... and how extensive it is.

Exactly. Nuts come in all kind of flavors. They need to respect the authorities that God has put in place over them. Fortunately, these authorities have allowed for lawful ways for us to protest and disagree with them and even replace them. This guy should be advising his audience to take advantage of the political process rather than "arresting" the police.

I have never understood how some can turn a personal belief into a requirement for all.

Good post, Oakchas. I think it's important that we pay attention to what's going on over there. We may be seeing into our own future.

I can see that kind of action when you have no way to hold your government accountable, IE The fall of the Soviet Union and the creation of the Russian Federation.

But in most Western Democracies we still can vote out our elected officals (I personally don't think that we flush the toilet often enough) and this kind of movement represents for a large part those on the dole who are upset that their government can no longer support them.

We will probably be seeing similar things here in the near future

I'd like to see footage of a mob peacefully disarming and arresting a group of Policemen. I'm sure that will end well for all.
Are you sure this isn't from one of the "Dune" series books? Actually "Muad'dib" is John Anthony Hill, a well know conspiracy lunatic with a history of self-induced legal problems.

In a state (nation-state) in which the constitution and/or law codifies lawful peaceful protest, they've got at least some reasonable expectation of being able to gather, march and protest in peace without intervention. However, they're also advocating criminal violence against police. In any larger city or metro area, particularly if the military adds any forces, it's entirely likely for any such "hands-on" treatment of police to get violent and bloody, overwhelmingly so. In short: sounds like a "jubilee" to avoid, if the idiots putting on the thing are pushing this agenda in this manner.

Which is not to say they're not right in deeming that unjustifiable harassment, provocation and arrest of otherwise peaceful protestors isn't unlawful. It's just terribly irresponsible and provocative to dare claim a set of so-called "Rules" of engagement for ostensibly peaceful citizens. Let's see how far that tactic gets them. My guess is, they'll not live to regret it, leastwise not live very long. Dumb x2, IMO.

The thing is, I garauntee that those advocating this Jubilee will not be getting hands on. They leave that to the lesser men. Suicide bomber style.
