I'd go with #1. Even with "no bone fragmentation" in the scenario, it seemd to be the least restrictive entrance being at the center of the nasal opening.

Again, they're probably all kill shots... and probably nearly instantaneous... so, to kill Mook...any one of the shots will do..

I'm looking for the one shot that will turn off his "switch." As far as I have been able to discern... the only shot that will turn off all automatic nerve responses is to sever, or perhaps vaporize, the medulla oblongata... part of the brain stem... but not all of it...

    Wife says # 1.
She is a respiratory therapist, but what does she know, right?
I'm gonna deviate from the pack and say #2.

Target # 1 if hit accurately will lead to the Medulla Oblongata.

However, at this distance minus the length of my arms and the length of the gun the distance the bullet will travel is considerably less than 6.5 feet--call it 6.5'-3'=3.5 feet. At that distance the bullet will not have risen to the line of sight before hitting the target. Remember also that the laser will be set to coincide with the iron sights which are sitting about 3/4" above the bore axis. The tip of my nose is about 2" below the eyes so I believe if I aimed at a point 1/2 way between the eyes and the tip of the nose (call it point #1.5) the bullet would impact at point #1 and achieve the desired trajectory.

    Ta-da!

At the distance you have given 6.5 feet,
    sights eye level,
muzzle tip would be 18 to 24 inches in front of you,
bullet path will be approximately 1 ” lower than sights aim point.
With your perfect conditions POA for me would #2 which would possibly be ’ to high.

Number 3. Most lasers have an offset that would be pretty significantly off at that range when properly zeroed.
