Perfect practice makes perfect, and in that case you are looking to perfect and ingrain the results you are achieving not expecting different results.

Continuing to practice applying ineffectual statutes and penalties while expecting things to materially change is, basically, not very rational. From a certain perspective, by that old adage, that's the definition of (administrative/political) insanity, yes.

Propose restricting my legal purchase limit in attempts to restrict those who don't follow restrictions (laws)... nonsense, I say.

you do understand that its impossible to truly evaluate strict gun-regulations in a certain city when people can freely come in and out of that city, to places that have much looser gun-purchase laws, yes?

Of course. That's exactly the point and reality of how ineffectual such statutes will ever be. And it's why ol' Ben Franklin's admonition about those willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserving neither rings so utterly true.

So your answer is to have everyone mimic the laws of NYC? Or the stricter gun laws should have precedent?
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

You do understand that it is impossible to truly evalute the intent of some posters that advocate strict gun regulations on a certain forum where most people can freely buy and sell guns as they choose, from places that have much looser gun laws yes?
And to keep further stupidy from infiltrating this forum, I am going to close this because it would appear that all that needs to be said has been said.
