They say the pen is mightier than the sword, so why wouldn't a typewriter be even mightier?
They can't even hit "spell check" ???? Laziness in it's full glory.
That's part of the problem, over dependence on spell check.
That and as personnel had to be cut, news organizations seem to have put proofreaders at the head of the pink slip line.
Back to the sword and pen analogy, does that make a manual typewriter a semiautomatic assault weapon, and an electric typewriter a fully automatic assault weapon? When is the ban coming?
I may still have the Daily Bulletin I saved that caused the Public Affairs office extreme embarrassment back when I was still on active duty. Their comment was “All pubic appearances must be coordinated with the Personal Affairs office”. Needless to say they were quite embarrassed.
