Refusing orders to drop the rifle and then pointing it at the LEO... sounds like suicide by cop to me.. with a bizarre twist. :what:

Sadly I'd say it was probably a good shoot. I have two "good" (gunsmith made) RevWar era reproduction flintlock rifles (not muskets) and both are accurate to 150+ yards. I'm guessing that Civil war weapons can at least match that.
I don't know about the Civil War side since I've never done it, but the RevWar groups usually do a lot more than just line up and fire at each other, I do RevWar, but not specifically military. It's all about an interest in history...Quote:

I agree with the suicide by cop theory. It is so selfish to put someone else in the position of having to deal with taking your life because you were too cowardly to do it yourself. I hope the cop doesn't have to struggle with guilt over the shoot.
