With winter time just around the corner, maybe we can reflect on this guy and learn how to stop and smell the roses if we get caught in a similar situation. This guy seems fully aware that life is just too short...

He's from that dying out generation that are self reliant, strong and stable. They really are an inspiration. What a great attitude!
You know, if I had a good book, my dog and wasn't too cold...3 days alone doesn't sound so bad!
...did you see his dog stick it's head out of the police van towards the end? That made me laugh.

And this is the generation some people are calling the "entitled" generation... Probably a vet, getting S.S., getting medicare, probably not medicaid though, he still owns a vehicle.

He is the type of man who wouldn't even apply for SS until he couldn't work any longer and his savings were about gone.
