    I don't have a problem with Kale but it wouldn't be something I'd hoard in case of a disaster.

    Kale is a dark green leafy vegetable. It has a bitter taste unless cooked right...like with a lot of bacon grease. It's a southern thing.

    Park Slope is a very upscale section of NYC.

    Kale is packed with nutrients. It's probably better than how people prepare for hurricanes down here - carton of camels and a keg of bud light.
