I like to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose on Halloween but for nostalgia, sometimes I'll look up the old Disney Halloween cartoons.

We watched Sleepy Hollow this weekend, my wife's favorite Halloween movie.

Nasferatu - even the title is creepy - the original and still the best!
Halloween - relied on suspense and not gore. Hitchcock could not have done better with the screenplay as it is. I saw this first when I was in high school. My GF talked me into sitting in the front row.. That, of course, made me extra paranoid. Never since, never again the front of the theatre!
There is a solution but we are not Jedi... not yet.
