That may be the message that was sent, but does anyone expect the elected or appointed officials to actually do their jobs? Never mind doing them in a correct and professional manner. I wouldn't have honestly expected that out of either candidate to tell the truth. I can be just a bit cynical though. Rant off. :-)
It's kind of like how some people have a sudden and insatiable desire to talk about vampires after the Twilight series became popular, except zombies are much less gay and more likely to exist one day

The Store (KTP) where I work hasn't slowed down one bit since the Election. Matter of fact it has been crazy since the 2008 Election, and sales are higher than ever before.
Why Waltz when you can Rock-N-Roll
I heard Obama was going to take my guns away four years ago. I still have them. I heard I wouldn't be able to get guns if he was re-elected...I still bought another one this weekend.
The only thing I've seen is ammunition costs rise, and from what I can tell, that's been as much caused by self-fulfilling prophecy as who's in office.
Not a huge Obama fan, by the way, but just pointing out that despite doomsayers the gun business still seems to be alive and well.
I went to a gun show Saturday and when I saw the parking lot and line at the door I turned around and left. I wasn't there to pay the idiot tax (buying guns and ammo because Obama's going to ban them), my son and I had planned to go two months ago, the election being far from my mind. Oh well, we can go look at new toys over the winter when the "taxpayers" realize the sky is still up there.
Went to a gun show this past weekend and the parking lot was full and I had to wait in line to get in the door. People were NOT purchasing. Most were just shopping. The vendors liked the crowd but were complaining about the lack of good sales. Lots of Cheap bargin hunters out there. It was a good place to vent a bit and look at guns.
AUH; but he had 1 more election to go through and remember the message he gave Dmitry Medvedev to pass on to Vladimir (Putin) "This is the last election I will ever have to stand, Tell Vladimir after November I'll have more flexibility".
