The book was very good.

Zombies, thousands of them!
Don't bring a knife to a gun fight...unless it's strapped to a gun.
The book was very good.
"When among wild beasts, if they menace you, be a wild beast."
Holy Jeez that looks amazing.
"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet."
-General James Mattis, USMC
The book was very, very good. That said, this trailer makes it apparent that the movie will have almost nothing to do with the book. THAT said, the movie still looks pretty danged cool.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.
Opfor, that's exactly what I've been telling people. At no point does that scene occur in the book (unless it's the Yonkers part), and the main character is an author, not some UN weasel. At least they could have kept a modicum of the original plot.
Will I see it? Yeah, cuz I'm a sucker for zombie flicks. Will I be one of those people who bit$$ about it afterwards saying how much better the book was than the movie? Yeah, of course. Can't help it.
Does hollywood care what the original plot was for anything?
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."
- Roy Batty
My sonhad to read it for college...he thought it was great..looking forward to the movie
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
I'm not usually one for zombie films, but that does look like fun.
I don't like the fast Zombies, lol.....
If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
Im a big fan of the .22LR for bear defense.
Just shoot the guy next to you in the knee and run like heck.

Why Waltz when you can Rock-N-Roll
Looks pretty good. Gives me the I am Legend feel as far as the zombies, not a walking dead type zombie lol.
I'm getting sick of zombies. Zombie ammo, zombie commercials, zombie this and zombie that.
I will give credit where it is due though, the trailer looked good.
My wife and I are huge horror flick fans, but the zombie genre is far and away our favorite... My all time favorite is The Crazies.
Sorry Timmy zombies just don't get old but I don't buy zombie related gun stuff.
