The book was very, very good. That said, this trailer makes it apparent that the movie will have almost nothing to do with the book. THAT said, the movie still looks pretty danged cool.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Opfor, that's exactly what I've been telling people. At no point does that scene occur in the book (unless it's the Yonkers part), and the main character is an author, not some UN weasel. At least they could have kept a modicum of the original plot.
Will I see it? Yeah, cuz I'm a sucker for zombie flicks. Will I be one of those people who bit$$ about it afterwards saying how much better the book was than the movie? Yeah, of course. Can't help it.

My wife and I are huge horror flick fans, but the zombie genre is far and away our favorite... My all time favorite is The Crazies.
Sorry Timmy zombies just don't get old but I don't buy zombie related gun stuff.
