I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

I don't know if any of you have seen that horrible FX show 'Archer'...

"It's a catch 22- the amount of alcohol it would take to get me to {kiss} you would also kill me! - It's funny."
"Rock and load, lock and roll... what's it matter? FIRE!!"

"Gun control means hitting your target every time."

Please take everything I say with at least one grain of salt- I am a very sarcastic person with a very dry sense of humor.

Jeanlouise, that is just cruel forcing us to look at that. The least you could do is warn us we need a six pack before enlarging the picture!

Ken Burns did a 3½ hour documentary on Prohibition for PBS...

Women in the era were considered no more than chattel. That false position, like the rightful enslavement of blacks, made abuse of "property" more or less acceptable.

Women were initially behind the movement to prohibition. To stop the abuse.

The tax revenue from booze was responsible for one third of the government's budget. As soon as the Gov't lost that revenue, it was replaced by an income tax.

I hope they weren't representative of the woman of average beauty back then.

Perhaps makeup is an underappreciated product in our society.

I think I'm starting to understand the phrase "lipstick on a pig."

    Prohibition overturned. Income tax remains.

I'm actually happy to pay income tax. I just wish I had the opportunity to decide how my tax dollars are spent.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I don't drink, but I could take it up in face of a crisis. I would consider that a crisis.
