    Found tonight out a friend who was in my Company in the Marines killed himself earlier this week. That sucks, and its a terrible waste.

    I had just read this article the other week: The 8000-Mile Sniper Shot: I've Lost Friends To Combat, Now I'm Losing Them To Suicide - Business Insider

    It really is an epidemic among my generation of service members.

    Interesting side note, I was in Marjah in February 2010, although not with 3/6. We conducted a helo-borne assault days ahead of them, and held our ground for weeks until 1/6 and 3/6 fought their way to us.
