Why is it so difficult to answer a straight up question on the Internet?

Example:
Q: Help me decide, S&W Shield or Glock 26?
A: XD-S

As a retort, do people really just blindly buy what random people on the internet tell them to?

"Tell me what gun/truck/clothes to buy because I cannot educate myself and form a personal opinion on anything and therefore require strangers to tell me how to spend my disposable income."

Why did I wait my just about my whole musical life (me=drummer) to actually learn something about music, take up on my own playing the bass guitar, writing songs that should be published and recorded so I can get royalties and not actually taking voice lessons even though I sing good enough to keep having people ask me to do it and keep getting asked to play drums and percussion with other accomplished musicians?

And why did I not buy that AR-15 a long time ago when I had the chance, money and opportunity....

So many random thoughts, I fear I will run out of space and time to type them.

Stock up on Twinkies, the company just announced that they are closing after the striking workers failed to show up for the 5:30 deadline. I for one cannot imagine a world without Twinkies. Who even wants to live in a world without Twinkies.
