Anyone know of a good, basic, no frills calendar app for android devices? I just want to be able to make notes on it and keep track of appointments

Mrs QK just baked "DEATH BY CHOCOLATE" cookies. They are so doggone good. Especially when they are still warm.

Google search Death By Chocolate Cookies. I am almost positive the recipe is on line.

I love that name. and they are really fantastic.

Went to the range today. I took my 12-yr-old son and six guns in five calibers. We came up with a list of the sounds they make:
    Ruger 10/22 and 22/45 .22LR goes "pop"
    S&W Bodyguard .380 goes "bang"
S&W Shield 9mm goes "Bang!" (same as .380 only louder)
    Taurus 66 .357mag goes "BOOM!"
Mossberg 190 16ga shotgun goes "BAM!!"... and if it is being shot by my son - "BAM!!" "Ow!"
He said the shotgun hurt, but then he he wanted to shoot it again a while later. I really enjoy watching my boy become a man.
    Fun times.

Sitting on the porch rocker, dog at my feet.

I have a mason jar of sweet tea, and a good cigar.

    Don't judge me.

EDIT: the people who just walked by, definitely judged me

Ever wondered why, in the 1939 film The Wizard Of Oz, the Tin Man actually helped the Wizard escape in his balloon by untying the guy-line?

On a road trip and just stopped at a large service area. If we had gotten 50 gallons or more we could have gotten a free shower.

I just have the basic calendar app that I believe was on the phone already when I got it. (The icon has the day of the month on the white page with a red header at the top) Mine is hooked up with Active Sync to an exchange server but you can also sync it to Outlook if you use that. Then I run the widget for quick desktop access and reference to reminders, appointments and upcoming events.

Here's the Google search that has a list for that and it includes different phone models.

It would have been neat if Leo Fender had met Eugene Stoner (maybe they did & I just don't know about it). They both invented iconic standards in their respective fields in the 1950s - I'm sure they would have liked each other. Both products that they bore are still being built today according to individualized tastes per their modular construction. Strats & ARs are generic in nature but at the same time, the plethora of flavors they come in continue to captivate us as well as future generations to come.
