I hope the world doesn't end before my venison pastrami is done. It's only recently started swimming in the corning brine - pastrami is still a dream.
The problem with the world is grown-ups behaving like unsupervised children.
There is a solution but we are not Jedi... not yet.

Keep one thing frontal in your brain when you watch this YouTube VIDEO.
Copies of the original vintage '50s Civil Defense film are still available (was widely circulated in schools in the past) and this presented VID version of it has not been photo-shopped or altered.
What is your explanation?
It makes absolutely no logical sense for that to be printed on the blackboard and it cannot even be randomly coincidental to the topic of the film as it is in no way related to the second thing that students do should there be a threat of an impending attack.
Liberty Over Tyranny Μολὼν λαβέ
I am tired of all the "key phrases," of all the expert opinions, of all the training methods, of all the tacticool stuff associated with our decision to carry weapons to defend our loved ones and our selves.

I did like one though, when the STTS when the "sugar turns to s***" That was new to me..
The OODA loop is one of my biggest pet peeves... we OODA loop over every action we do from arising in the morning...
As I sit here I observe that there is an empty bowl on the desk next to the computer, I am within reach of it, I have decided to pick it up and carry it to the kitchen and put it in the dishwasher, I am extending my hand towards it with the object of picking it up....(11:47)
(11:55) ... I have returned. Enroute to accomplish the originally decided upon task, I observed that nature was calling me, so I handled that. I also observed that my dogs probably wanted to go out and take care of their own nature calls, so I took them out.
there were several other OODA loops along the way... some of them based on observations made earlier... I knew it was cool outside so I donned a jacket... I also decided that socks weren't sufficient foot covering to cross my gravel driveway, so I slipped on some boots.
(12:01) I have decided to write down the time to show that it takes much longer to write this stuff out than to actually DO it. It also takes considerably longer to consciously go through an OODA loop, than it does to DO it.
That was a long random thought... but that's what it was... and I Observed it, I Oriented on it, Decided to share it, and Acted on the OOOOOOOOOOs.
That is all.
It could be worse!
How cool would it have been if Les Paul and John Moses Browning were on a bowling league that battled Leo Fender and Eugene Stoner every Wednesday night for bragging rights and the next pitcher of beer? They both made iconic standards in their fields using careful hand fitting that are still being produced and treasured to this day.
Interesting observation. Strats do seem to be as versatile and modular as ARs. I can certainly agree with that. I will also say that Les Pauls are as neat as 1911s, M1s and M14s and probably just as sturdy.
With that lined out what kind of weapon is analagous to a tele?
It's kind of like how some people have a sudden and insatiable desire to talk about vampires after the Twilight series became popular, except zombies are much less gay and more likely to exist one day
If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
That was my sister in the second row! Today was her birthday.
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
I baked these tonight:
Ya hungry yet? Mwhahaha!
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I expect the same from them. -- John Wayne as John B. Books in "The Shootist"

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Every morning when I wake up beside my wife, I realize how lucky I am that, that amazing woman married me!
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
