We used to go swimming in warm water on Christmas. Now we live in snow storm areas. Don't want to move back south. Roaches, chiggers, fleas, massive mosquitos, hurricanes, salt water intrusion, sink holes, wildlife becoming extinct from non-native reptiles (call PETA), etc. I'll take snow with a good supply of food and fuel any day. Reading a good book today.

Hey! I finally got to give my fancy dandy snow blower a good work out this afternoon. The one that I bought last Winter and didn't get to use. Let It Snow Let It Snow Let It Snow!
I was so happy moving snow around that I did all the sidewalks on my entire block.
My neighbors owe me a breakfast at Eat N Park.

My sister and I are going out to lunch today. We both agreed that we're looking forward to January 1st so we can stop all this constant eating and holiday cheer. Not that it's stopping us from going out to lunch...we're just speaking in theory.
