Of all holiday meals traditional/cultural/religious, New Year's Day in the south has got to be my favorite!

We don't have any particular tradition for food today. My Father always made Oyster Stew on New Years day.

it sounds like oyster stew was your tradition, but what kind of oysters do you have in West Virginia?… I would be a little suspicious of those.
