It's January 5, 2013, and it's 80+ outside. Score one point for global warming.

Well, it's Jan. 5th 2013 and 38 outside with snow on the ground. So I call Bull Hockey on Global Warming.

Its January 5th, and 16 degrees outside - warmer than expected.

Mid 70's here - bright and sunny! Kids are playing in the pond and I'm sitting nearby soaking up the sun. Love it!

If it wasn’t for my guinea pig, I wouldn’t’ have been able to graduate college.

Why do people from FL always swim in ponds? LOL

I remember a neighbor who moved here from FL and all of the kids loved and insisted on swimming in the ponds. I was like... Yeah, you might not wanna do that around here there are tons of cottonmouths the size of your arm that live in there :)

It drives my husband (a FL native) nuts I let the kids play in the pond, heck I do sometimes too lol. But it wasn't FL where I grew up doing it, it was VA in Lake Anna. You just have to be careful down here in the hot months because of amoeba - well and gators and snakes. Lol keeps it exciting!

Does anyone know if the government has planted a secret program in my cell phone? It will monitor my respiration and heart rate, and then just as soon as I take a nap the phone will ring.

When as a kid I lived in Miami I always swam in the canal until a certain alligator convined me otherwise. After that I stuck to the ocean and the sharks.

Never fly low over the coast when the water is clear. You may never enter the ocean again.
