I went to the range yesterday with my 22-yr-old daughter. She'd been wanting to go shooting with me, but was too nervous being around strangers and the loud gunfire at the indoor range where I'm a member. We managed to get our own range (separate room) and after taking a few tentative, nervous shots with my Ruger 22/45 Mark III, she was hooked. She could hardly get enough shooting in before the hour was up. Looking forward to going with her again before long.

Police protection is an oxymoron.
Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.
