Thanks a lot! I am in week two of the Adkins diet-I would die for a piece of bread right now, LOL
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

That's ok, I'll eat it for you. I'm turning it into garlic bread tonight for dinner. Fresh pressed garlic, oregano.....

    Today's rant:

It really annoys me when I click on a news article and have to sit through a video in order to get the content. I can read far faster than anyone can talk, and my hearing isn't so good (I wonder why... ).

All part of the dumbing down of America.

Gotta love this... I know my kids are a lot safer with guns than that woman is.

When OldVet posted this reply I just kind of chuckled and didn't think any more about it. Well twice since then my daughter has asked when we can go to the range again, so now we plan to go tonight after supper. A monster in the making? It's starting to look that way. (My 12-yr-old son has basketball practice and won't be too happy about missing a trip to the range.)

Also, yesterday I took my 19-yr-old daughter back to college for spring semester where she's studying to become an elementary school teacher. On the drive we were discussing all the qualifications she was completing that are required for her degree and teaching certification. I suggested she should round out her qualifications by getting her CCW permit. (She's been to the range with me a number of times this year and is engaged to marry a nice young fellow who also likes to shoot.) Well she thought that was a very reasonable idea. I predict the NEA indoctrination attempts will not find fertile soil with this one.

We need more monsters like her, especially as teachers! Take that, you homeschoolers!

By the way, both my daughters are homeschool graduates. There's something extra special seeing my homeschooled kid getting ready to teach in the classroom.
