Ever eat Surströmming Swedish Rotted Fermented Herring? When you puncture the bulging can this foul smelling liquid and gas spurts out that is so stinky that it's unreal.
I would say without hesitation that it is the worst thing that I have ever tasted that was intended for human consumption.

Yes, the cans end up bulging out like this due to the build up of rotting fish fermentation gasses inside the can.

My neighbors Sam & Ella invited me to dinner tonight. Should I go? Anything I should watch out for?

Are they serving their famous "no refrigeration required Potato Salad"? If you like it warm just set it in the sun.
It's kind of like how some people have a sudden and insatiable desire to talk about vampires after the Twilight series became popular, except zombies are much less gay and more likely to exist one day

    Icelandic cuisine sounds great too:

Hákarl or kæstur hákarl (Icelandic for “fermented shark”) is a Greenland or basking shark head which has been cured through a fermentation process while burried in sand and hung to dry for four to five months.

    makes haggis seem tame.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

Reminds me of the "Man vs Food" episode I watched today. They were filming in Cambodia. No wonder Cambodians are so skinny; who would eat that stuff. Deep fried Tarantula.

And I thought I was brave for eating my Korean ex-MIL's "things I think MAY be food" she would leave in my fridge. And her homemade kimchi that she left in a stone pot out on the back porch, "For extra flavor."

I'm so sorry that I clicked on that link. If I'm going to eat something that disgusting, I'd prefer it in an nondistinguishable, super processed form--like a McRib!

Tastes like chicken??? Now in Thailand we had barbequed squid on a stick, quite tasty and in the Philippines there was something barbequed on a stick we referred to as “Puppy on a Pole”.

The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

    The British are coming.
If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."
