In some parts of the country,a possum and a six-pack is a 7 course meal.
You're assuming the gastronome can count that high.

My neighbor who rents the 2nd floor in the house next to mine was away last Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
This past Monday morning I heard him outside yelling Oh No! I Don't Believe it! Oh Crap! I'm Soooo...STUPID! I cannot believe I did that! & on and on so I went out right away to ask him what was wrong.

He was smoking a cigarette by the time I got out there and when I looked at him he had the most pitiful look on his doggone face.

He hid Cash & Jewelry in the garbage and then hurriedly took his garbage out for rubbish collection on Monday morning.
By the time he remembered that his trash was treasure....the trash had already been picked up.
I asked him "How much money...though I know it's none of my business?" & he said that it was a lot.

I asked "over $500.00?" he nodded yes ~ "over $1,000.00?" ~ & the nod was yes.

I told him to call the rubbish collection company and they would know what truck was servicing our area and for him to find out if he could meet that truck at the dump.
I have no idea at this point in time how that worked out for him.
But, I can tell you that any way that day particular went - he will have had better days.

He might be able to find it. I had a friend that lost her engagement ring in the trash, called the dump and went through bags and found her ring! That was a miracle. I hope the guy finds his money.

Man that sucks. Ever put something in a special place so you won't lose it and then forget where you put it? Garbage can is definitely off my list of special places.

We're going to the gun rally this afternoon in my town. It's outside Senator Joe Manchin's regional office.

Anyone have any pithy sayings for a sign?

I've heard plenty of stupid in my life, but that really was a gifted move. At least he has a good read on himself?
