I could do that in basement if I only did one store front.

I think that is fantastic! He's very smart, not to mention talented. I love the General Store.
That basement must be huge to be able to do that although the storefronts are obviously scaled down.
I could tell by his drawings that he was an Engineer, even before they mentioned it in the story. Great hobby for him!
