Imho GB is becoming much like mexico in the sense that anyone worth a bucket of spit is looking for and in many cases finding a way out of there . Crime is rampant , Taxes are rampant , personal libertys are nonexistant .. Of all the brits i talk to online only the kids ( under 25 or so in this case , kinda like kid shooting statistics lol ) find the state of affairs over there either normal , or bearable . I guess if you are reared under the system its harder to see there is a better way .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .
We only begin to understand folks after we stop and think .

Criminals are looking for victims, not opponents.

    Chris,
The gun ban did so well, now they are implementing it on knives...

Yep - knives too and I'll bet at some point they close other things like shotguns, deer rifles etc.

''They'' have not yet ''got it'' re bans and crime - and doubt they ever will, unless Joe Public en masse wakes up and demands change.

Maybe we can chisel that news story on a fifty pound rock, and the next person (Rebecca Peters, George Soros, Kofi Anan, etc.) to suggest that the U.S. is barbaric and should follow Britain's gun control lead, gets smashed in the face with it!

I am SICK of every time we read about these people saying we need to ban guns, there seems to be NO ONE standing up and pointing out the abysmal failure of these schemes in Britain! (It doesn't count when Wayne LaPierre preaches to the converted in America's First Freedom. Who is that reaching who didn't already know it?)

That's the honest truth, and sadly, I have some very well-educated friends, and they somehow cannot manage to rise above the level of "fool" when looking at this issue.

And I would add, they are the same people who fear the approach of totalitarianism because of Bush's wiretaps and terrorists being held at Gitmo... But they can't figure out -- even though one is a PhD in Austrian History! -- that disarming the people is the first step that governments take to enslaving them.

Both links were excellent Chris. Thanks for posting them.

I can only hope that the collective British people get their act together and get this thing overturned at some point.
