Unless it's someone I know is Jewish, I say Merry Christmas to everyone. However my company does B2B advertising--so we put out 'holiday' messages for them. It's frustrating how scared so many retail/restaurant companies are of saying Christmas :'(

I'm Jewish and say merry Christmas. It is an acknowledgement of someone else's holiday, so it seems on courteous to say that to all my goyish friends and family (my wife is Christian).

I'm not religious and do not believe in God (I'll capitalize the G and make it look good though).

On Christmas I'll say Merry Christmas, on New Years Day I'll say Happy New Year, same with Easter and Thanksgiving for example. Other than that I just nod or say hey.

I really don't follow other holidays (whether it be Jewish, Muslim or what have you) so I don't deviate from 'hey' on those days.

    Merry Chrissymas.

My kids dubbed my dog and my best friend in this world a Chrissymas dog. It does no one any harm nor does it matter if they get it. Besides, it's more about what we do...not what we say.

Serve my country, swear an oath to protect it, pay my taxes, fly old glory in the front yard, love and protect my family, honor the vets before me and help fellow americans in need.
By definition my country now calls me a radical

That's just fine, so long as you're just as respectful as they are if you hear 'Happy Hanukkah' in return.

I agree (I'm Jewish too). I say Merry Christmas to Gentile friends and Happy Hanukah to Jewish friends.
Happy Festivus to George Costanza's dad.

I think this war on Christmas thing is B.S. If someone wishes me Merry Christmas OR Happy Hanukah, I'm OK.

    Happy Holidays is fine also.

    BTW I LOVE Christmas Lights!!!!!

Goy is an offensive term to use. Gentile would be a better choice of words.

It is frequently claimed that the term "Goy" (pl. goyim or goyyim) means "animal" and is therefore a derogatory term. However, this is not at all true. "Goy" is Hebrew for nation."

"Goy" as an insulting word is an urban myth, only derogatory if used in a derogatory way (ex "all the goyem are gonifs" is derogatory). Purely contextual.

In the Torah/Hebrew Bible, goy and its variants appear over 550 times in reference to Israelites and to Gentile nations.

    I take no offense. I am goy/gentile/Christian/redneck.

What is your greeting this season?

Merry Christmas is an always will be my and my family's greeting to others at this time of year.

Im a secular, war on Christmas, liberal kinda guy, I just think its rude to assume a stranger is the same religion as you. Its more on the fact that you're assuming then what you're assuming.
