I prefer "Hi" or "Hello" as my standard greeting.

If I HAVE to be friendly I use "Happy Holidays."

I prefer "s'up dawg" but "Merry Christmas" if the wife is around.

Personally, I'm going with "Happy end of the Mayan calendar, don't bother buying Christmas presents because we're all DOOMED!!!"... then I usually get escorted out of wherever I happen to be.

When appropriate I typically say "Merry Christmas", I don't buy into this "offended" business. If someone greets me with a greeting from another holiday, I'm happy to return it back to them with a smile. I'm truly happy for them to celebrate their holiday. I don't see how someone expressing a greeting to me should offend me. I think the whole "offended" thing is ridiculous.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

I hope I can say this on here...

"Bugger off!" - it's one of my favorites. Lets people know I really don't care about how they feel, their holidays, or anything about them.

--Not really. I typically respond with 'you too' because I work in retail/service and people always throw that out there as they run out the door. I feel the 'bugger off' sentiment more than I feel anything else because the people wishing me a 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy Holidays' were typically the mean kind of customer not 20 minutes before.

What is your greeting this season?

I say Merry Christmas. I'm not a believer in spiritual things. I personally think Christmas is nothing but a commercial holiday and a time to be with family and friends. Happy Holidays works, too, but it doesn't feel as warm as the traditional seasonal greeting.
