that poor girl...... HAhahahaha
Very cool video.
That would be some experience to have.
Whales are such magical animals. I can't imagine people wanting to do them harm. To see some this close would be truly awesome. Sounds like the daughter might have needed a change of underwear.
One moment she is sounding scary and the next she is all excited about the fishies surrounding the humpback.
What a special treasure!
Wow, that was cool indeed. The girl is a crack up!
Where's the Japanese whaling fleet when you need it?
I've seen whales in Alaska fairly close...but not THAT close...WOW!
They won't ever forget that experience.
Thanks for the post!:hand9:
Such a great video! I had the privilege of doing some whale watching when I was in Australia/New Zealand back in 02. On our way and back from the great barrier reef we seen 3 groups of whales. It is absolutely amazing how such mammoth animals can be so delicate in their movements, nature is a beautiful thing!
Thanks for sharing
Way cool. All my daughter had to say is if that was us, I would have told her to shut up. She is probably right.
I was fortunate enough to see and actually touch Salt, a humpback whale who frequents (frequented? ) Stellwagen Bank off Cape Cod. She was so used to the whale-watching boats that she left her calf near the boat (they're attracted to the whine of the alternators) while she went off for 20 minutes to forage. The sheer enormity of these great mammals is beyond one's comprehension, until you're right there next to them. That kind of experience serves to take some of the starch out of a human's "master of the universe" arrogance quickly.
