I actually know of a guy who had his pickup stolen in one city and happened to be in a nearby city, on other business, and happened to recognize it going down the street. I believe this happened 6 months or maybe a year after he reported it stolen. He was walking at the time, grabbed a cab and they followed it (I presume discreetly) near the guys residence. At some point, they notified the police and they became involved, he wisely stayed on the sidelines and let the PD handle the rest of it.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.

I would probably pull along side and thank the guy for stealing my car so I can collect the insurrance money. I've been wanting to get rid of that car for a few years now. :)

I laughed when I realized the way that you had first read it. By the way, I have gray hair and drive a gold Buick. It's like when you turn 65, AARP sends you one with your membership renewal.

Gold is better than green... And green, with a hat on the hat shelf under the rear window, go around... That's guaranteed to be a geezer driving 40 on the interstate, in the left lane!

My last car I could leave running with the door open, a $50 dollar bill on the dash and the signed title underneath a note saying please take it and I would come back to another $10 or $20 dollars on the dash because people thought I was taking donations. I had it appraised and they asked how full was the gastank.
It's kind of like how some people have a sudden and insatiable desire to talk about vampires after the Twilight series became popular, except zombies are much less gay and more likely to exist one day

Glad I didn't have a mouth full of coffee when I read that.
Thanks for the laugh this morning, I needed that.

I'd wonder if they put any water in yet?
Maybe I'd get lucky and they'd replace the radiator before I caught them?
I left the key in the ignition for YEARS. But I moved further down the rent-scale and have to park on the curb to boot, and I keep the key in my pocket now. Somebody stole my spare tire already, but so far the 4 on the ground are still there. My theft deterrence system is not having enough gas to get across town, and a slow radiator leak to catch up with them if they can afford gas.

Well..... he just added several felonies on top of the others ..... and while using a gun in the commission of a crime. Plus, may be charged with attempted murder. He just wrote himself a long sentence.
