Checking in
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking. Everything is good, life is good. Just been very busy with work and family. Very little time for anything else but work really. One thing I am quickly taking a big dislike to with this new job. In fact, I would go so far as to predict that in the next few years I will most likely return to broadcasting because of the hours involved in the job. A lot less time with the family and that isn't what I signed on for.
Anyway, you may see me from time to time on here and there may be rather extended periods of time where I am absent. No choice, just a matter of time available.
I hope everyone has been good in the time I have been away and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year.

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
One thing I have learned is that you do what is necessary in life. Sometime that means working long hours, sometimes it means making less money and having more time. Such is life.
Take care.

I am rapidly approaching the "less money/more time with family" point with this job. I enjoy it but, I do not like the amount of time I am away from my family because of it.

I hear you. I just spent six months making gobs of money--alone, out in the desert--and I'm more than glad to be back home, even if unemployed. I'd rather "barely" get by than do that again.

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
