It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

    Forwarded it. Lol
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

I'm sure that China would approve, and N. Korea will reprint this as real news.

And the M16 has been semi-auto since the 80s I believe.
The M16A1 has always been select fire either semi-auto or full-auto it had a windage only adjustable rear sight and triangular hand guards, later on they came out with the M16-A2 which had a windage and elevation adjustable rear sight and round hand guards, then came the M4 which in some models has a 4 position selector safe-semi-3 shot burst-full auto

That is incorrect. The M16 has not always had the option for full auto. Not a single rifle that I touched while in the Marines had full auto capability; just semi-auto or 3-round burst. The M16A1 and A3 are the only ones that had full auto capabilities. The A1 was replaced by the A2 in the 80s, and the A3 was solely used by the Navy. The M16A4 and M4s difference was in platform not select-fire capabilities.

I'm not sure how the sights and hand guards had anything to do with select fire.

I understand that effective immediately, all Force Recon units are being rearmed with sling shots.
