Once they outlaw sandwiches only outlaws will have sandwiches.

Why would one do that? You mean like if his .22 was in the shop?

OK, it took me a minute to stop laughing after watching a news report on this issue. I really don't know how the gal kept a straight face. Kuddos to her for her professionalism after being assigned this ridiculous story.

I suppose if you can call confusing a sub for a shotgun aware - then yeah. OTOH, they really don't look all that much alike.

But, was it a TACTICAL sandwich?!! High capacity? Did it have a pistol grip?

I can understand people get jumpy when you see somebody try to conceal something. With the recent shootings, and the general erosion of common sense, there's really no place safe anymore.
Could have the police have made a smoother removal? Maybe.
I'm sure they did what they felt was best.

Could be a conspiracy sounding "well orchestrated panic" over nothing. But this is how the fear of guns can be perpetrated, you must create a panic over the "possibility" someone is taking one inside a "gun free zone" by having someone "create" the panic.

This keeps the people crowing about gun restriction in the limelight and puts more fire upon their cause. So what if it turned out to be a sub sandwich, it could have easily been one of those evil Assault Rifles.

I'm so glad the theater where I go isn't posted. Every time I go I see at least 3-4 other CC'ers. (We live in a small town with the only two movie theaters for 40 miles around. A lot of us know each other at least in passing from the range or classes.)

I find this kind of thing utterly ridiculous. I'm so glad that most folks around here haven't yet lost their sanity.

I just simply wont do business with people that have those signs. Even tho I don't have my CCW yet I refuse to give business to people who can't think.

I agree people do scare easily these days. I am not sure if our movie theaters have a gun free sign but even if they did the signs have no force of law so I don't pay any attention to it.
