Oh no, please, we don't want him back here. He's an arrogant pig of the first order. Americans are far better at dealing with his sort.

For once, Piers has finally made some sense, although it isn't his intent. If America, and the tenets that our country was founded on, frighten you or are cause for serious concern, pack up your stuff and go somewhere else. I know it sounds extreme but it's a heck of a lot less extreme than expecting our country, and our way of life, to change for you. America has no laws against renouncing your citizenship and leaving. Want to go? Fine, have at it. This country has no law stopping you.
Plenty of places in the world have strict gun control, more socialized welfare programs, yada, yada, yada. If they have what you want, then hit the exit door and don't look back. Our country has had more than enough of the mentality of wanting all the "benefits" this country offers but not wanting to pay the price that comes with it. There is (or should be) no free lunch, so to speak. If you enjoy the First Amendment, you better understand that the one below it is the reason why you get to enjoy it.
