Yup, the Christmas episode was a keeper. I liked Amy and Rory, but the romantic angle with River Song is getting old.

Grew up on Tom Baker and Peter Davison era. Didn't follow much after that, but really liked the reboot and have liked each Doctor since then. I was very skeptical when Matt Smith took over, but he's really owned the part.
Now that my family is all gone, the Christmas Special is my main tradition. Really loved the last couple years.

I haven't given the new ones a chance. I've never watched them because I couldn't get into the old ones. I used to watch them on KET on Saturday nights because there wasn't anything else on. Maybe I should give it a chance...

I don't think anyone under 8 years old that saw this episode will ever come within 20 feet of a snowman again! I loved it.

Watched the Christmas episode, another good one. The DVR is taping the marathon on BBC.
