The stupidity of some people NEVER ceases to amaze me.

Am I misinterpreting that you got work but only got to work less than a day and are now unable to work? I hope I'm reading it wrong. Get well quickly.
Bummer that is horrible. Don't fret, goof excuse to go out and buy a j frame.
Don't try to play "catch-up" with the pain. Take the painkillers they prescribed when they are prescribed. I used to try to be brave and chased the pain several times, bad choice. An ER nurse convinced me, one time, to take the prescribed medication when it was prescribed and wouldn't you know it, the pain went away a lot quicker. You may find that will really help with those pesky "personal chores."
Good luck

Hope you heal quickly; ice is no fun to be around.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Yep! Took "The Express Route" off a ladder, landed on my right shoulder and along with a couple fractures tore the right rotator cuff in half, 4 surgeries and 2 1/2 years before I was fully back to work. I am pathetically right handed and dang near starved each time the right arm was immobilized, wait till you try to cut a steak one handed.
Heal fast my friend.
Ouch. Heal up, doodle. Take it easy. I know the feeling. Fractured wrist before in a fall. Not fun.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
I spent several hours doing mag changes and malfunction drills (tap/rack/bang), weak hand only, lying on my back, in a rock pit last fall. Its possible, and a good thing to learn. Now I practice them once a month.
Stand up with an UNLOADED pistol and think about it for a few minutes. Just make sure you continue to follow the 4 rules.
Hope you heal quickly.![]()

I am only saying that I have watched many a movie where the hero falls 20 stories, lands on a car, falls onto the sidewalk, is shot 20 times with a .50 cal, sustains an explosion and then runs after the bad guy. And you fall on the ice and fracture your rest? Really, come on.
In all seriousness, I hope you heal quickly and can get back to shooting.
