For us older guys who enjoyed Tom Selleck as Magnum P.I. back in the early 80's and for some of you younger guys who might not have ever heard of the show. It's great T.V and it's suppose to be campy

Loved the show, like him even better int the Jesse Stone series, not so much Blue Bloods. I think his portrayal of a flawed police chief in Stone is very interesting. I hope for many more to come.

Yep, Jesse Stone is pretty fair television. But Magnum PI parked his Ferrari in his living room & carried a 1911. What's not to like?!?

I am another who liked the Jesse Stone series, such a shame Robert B Parker passed away, no new Jesse Stone books now.

I never thought about it at the time, as I was a teenager just enjoying a good show, but notice how Magnum only takes his 1911 "when he needs it," doesn't use a holster, and assumingly (by the real world political climate) does not have a permit to conceal.
