New Cabela's
GREENVILLE, SC --
Cabela's is planning on opening a new store in the city of Greenville.
The World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear announced plans to open a 100,000-square foot store that will be located inMagnolia Park on Woodruff Road at the site of the old Greenville Mall. It will be part of a already bustling business park which includes Costco,
Regal Cinemas, Rooms To Go, Cheddar's and other retailers and restaurants.
No date given but it sure will be a welcome addition.

Congrats! I just read that Cabelas is opening two new stores here in CO! They have one in Grand Junction but that's much farther than the drive to Sidney! Always fun to browse Cabelas!

the only bad thing about that location is the trafiic on Woodruff road. Cabelas could have gone anywhere up or down I-85 and gotten cheaper land and still pulled the crowds.

Everyone was all excited for the Cabelas to open in Richfield WI.... until it did and everyone got inside only to realized it is by far the most over priced retailer in the area. It is now largely is a tourist attraction for people from out of town to come to. I only go there on occasion to look at an item before I order it from somewhere else saving substantial money in doing so.
Their ammo and firearms are always much more expensive than other local shops, unless you happen to catch it on some kind of deeply discounted sale.

Good to hear. I'm excited for the one to open up a few miles from where I live in Colorado.

After seeing your post, I went online to see that 1 Cabela's is being built just 1 mile South of Park Meadows Mall. The other is up near 144th Ave. & I-25 in Thornton.
That one in Lone Tree, near Park Meadows Mall is going to be getting my business, for sure.
Thanks for posting!

I remember when the Wheeling, WV one opened. We went on opening weekend and it was chaos. And it was the only thing there. Now a few years later its like an entire city sprang up around it.
