Saw this and the couple seem concerned about a late night visit from someone holding a Bible and says that God told him to go to this house and pray with them.
I think they are being cased for a later return for a burglary. I hate to think it but it seems like thugs will use everything they can to gain an entry these days.

Yeah, I'd agree. Anybody who comes knocking at 10:30 PM and persistently tries to gain entrance into your home, isn't looking to pray for you; they're looking to prey upon you.
I wouldn't even answer the door.
Man of God or demon from hell, it all pays the same out here after dark. Get on down the road.
I'm in the "nothing good happens late at night even when they are toting a Bible" camp.
You are right TX expat, this guy was looking for prey for sure.
I would have shown this guy my Bible and .357 Magnum and pray that I don't have to use it to introduce him to Jesus if he had other than religion on his mind.
This is in a neighboring county, and I'm interested to see if this fellow reaches our neck of the woods.
It wouldn't be the first time that a gun was hidden inside a hollowed out Bible.
All the prophets you need are in place, in the Bible... I would of not answered the door and I would have had a extremely Hi capacity magazine in my gun behind the door.
He may have been just a religious crazy with no ill intent at that time. But if he believes God is telling him to go out and knock on strangers' doors late at night, who knows what messages he is going to be getting from God next. Lots of crazies have believed God is telling them to do crazy things.
He just might meet Jesus a lot sooner than planned.
I'll gladly discuss theology all day long. But I'd rather not do it on my front porch at 10:30 pm.

When I was stationed in Okinawa, I lived next door to a Mormon. One day the Jehovahs Witnesses knocked on their door. It was an all day battle! I gave the edge to the Mormons.
