    Let's just trade guns.

Surely you all have some that are sold to you through an FFL, and therefore somebody somewhere has a record of that sale to you. Same here, same for me.

So .... let's just trade! I'll trade you one of my 9mm for one of yours, and if anyone comes looking for the one that I purchased, well hey, I don't have it I must have given it to someone else.

What a perfect way to foil any attempts at registration. I can't believe how simply brillia....make that SILLIANT .... this is!

Think of how many different guns you could get to shoot .... we'll all just keep trading them around and get to shoot all kinds of stuff.

This is ... I'm telling you, this is truly brilliant.

The problem is that there will be a jackbooted thug standing on the back of your neck when they are asking you about your guns. Just saying I sold it or I gave it away isn't going to keep you from getting thrown into the FEMA camp. You'll need documentation to go with it.

In Michigan, you can "loan" a handgun to another CPL holder, so I think "trading" would work here as well..

I think we're going to need to write an app ....

We'd need to set up "pools" of like-minded/armed individuals to keep the trading fair .... we couldn't expect someone with a really nice collection of some 'standard' calibers like .22LR, 9mm, .45ACP to trade with someone like me that only has four or five weapons in my caliber's of choice: .177, .25, .32 and .41. So we'll need to write an app to help create pools for trading within.

And the app will have to be coded, so no one that does not participate can decode who is who, who has what, where what is, and what what is. This will take the most effort.

After that it's just give and go!

I've thought of this before. There are 3 almost-identical guns in my family, bought by relatives with different last names. We just swap em up between us, and big bro won't know who has which serial number, but we still have basically the gun we chose. Haven't done it though, just a thought I've had a while.

Sorry officer... I sold all of my guns when the King...I mean president... started talking about banning them and ran the prices up. All I have left is this old 1911 with an idiot scratch on it.

Don't forget to add Left Handed and Right Handed choices to the app. I don't want to get a right handed gun I can't use!
