I saw that on the news. That's literally in my backyard. If he needed a place to land, he could have used the empty lot next door. He should realize helicopters are aerodynamical abortions and stay out of them.

Well he looks no worse for wear, and I sure am glad he didn't join the list of recent conspiracy theory pro-gun deaths (Noveske and FPSRussia guy).

Glad everyone one is ok, we used to have a saying about helicopter pilots “There are those that have crashed and there are those who will crash”.

A helicopter is 10,000 totally unrelated moving parts, bent on self destruction, flying in relatively close formation.

Wow, lucky, Helios don't glide very well. And those Rotor Blades can do a lot of damage when then break apart.

Good to hear they walked away from it.

Nah. I'm sure they were just checking their gator detector gear. Turns out they needed to check the Vibram soles on their boots and bug spray effectiveness, too. Mission accomplished.

Two good guys up; one helo down. Good trade, I'd say.

That's why I personally like fixed wing aircraft. Sure, they crash too, but there aren't so many moving parts to come unglued. Glad all appear to be OK!
