I am obviously not endorsing this, but this story should actually be used by the antis as justification for banning handguns and not "assault weapons." Obummer admitted it in one of the Presidential debates that the problem in Chicago is not AK-47s, but handguns. If the antis were really serious about cutting down on gun violence they should be going after everything thing but the "assault weapons" but an AWB creates such emotionalism that plays well on TV and really looks like the gun banners are trying to do some noble thing. It's the low hanging fruit argument. We all know that is a bunch of bunk because a very small percentage of gun crime is committed with long guns much less "assault weapons."

Over 500 murders last year in chicago alone. That should be a wake up call to let the people carry and defend themselves. But dont see that happening anytime soon.
