    Is there another Davy Crockett out there?

    After watching all those blowhards grandstanding today, I was reminded of an essay from a while back. It reminds me of the true meaning of the Constitution and how it's been so thoroughly corrupted.

    Warning: long but worthwhile.

    I have read that account of Crockett before and found it to be a most excellent story.

    If we had such men of integrity today, the United States would be a much differrent place than it is now.

    Excellent read. I find it really cool that I'm related to Davy Crockett. My dad's mom's maiden name was Crockett and they traced our family tree back to him.
