If you can stomach it, I recommend lurking there for a little bit. It's insane to watch them post the same stories we do, yet from such a different perspective that I will never understand.

It can be depressing to see how clueless about reality some folks are though and how those with depraved minds view the world.

As do I. One of my sisters is a yuppie middle-school principal. The kind that sends kids homes for drawing pictures of guns. A simple 5 minute conversation with her will leave me trying to claw my brain out. I really do have to limit my exposure.

I would think as long as we focus on the 2A aspect we'd be okay.
I think it's very beneficial to understand your opponent's line of thinking in order to formulate your responses in a way that resonates with them.
Generally yes. But in the case of most progressives, I really don't think there is much thinking at all going on with them. You can't reason emotion and prejudice.
