In 1910, US population was about 100 million. Either the number of murders by gun - or the number of murders period with any weapon (can't remember) was a REPORTED 210.
("REPORTED" in 1910 is a lot different than "reported" now. Likely quite a few murders did not reach a central administrative body for inclusion in totals.
Unrelated: in 1910, the total population of Nevada was under 10.
And last: in 1910, women on average washed their hair once a month and most used Borax + Eggs.
