I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

Think I'll pass. I will have just eaten supper and will want to keep it a while.

Because I have basically no trust in the current President's words, listening to him speak is a waste of my time. I do pay close attention to his actions(policy initiatives, executive orders, campaigning), though.

I would rather chew on tin foil and shave my head with a cheese grater.

Have not watched a "State of the Union" address since the first George Bush and then Billy Clinton.

After that, it just seemed like a waste of prime time to tell us just how "great" everything is when we know well enough it isn't.

I'm not watching this one either.

If I wanted smoke blown up my corn-chute, I'd spend the night with a cigar and a short length of rubber hose....

I will if someone gives me motion sickness pills, goggles, a rubber slicker, rubber boots, a wheelbarrow and a shovel.

Dream Faster, it is all Lies, Deception, and Spin by the media (after spoken from the Dear Rulers mouth). This is why I do not watch Network Television, very little local news and watch mostly Food Programs and a movie long after it left the theatre. No need to ever pay for junk stuff. I do believe in Star Wars! Where's my blaster??

Nah I doubt it. Saw that a new episode of Dora the Explorer was coming on. Need to brush up on my Spanish so I'm prepared when he signs in his amnesty laws.

I don't want to listen to/watch it, but need to. Must stay informed and hear it (garbage, lies, some truth, deception, half-truths) for myself. Keep friends close, but your enemies closer...watching the State of the Union is that for me.

I believe in gathering inteligence on one's adversary when possible and this seems like a good opportunity to do just that.
