Opposing team passes ball to mentally challenged player

With all of the bickering and crap going on in the world it is very refreshing to see a High School kid do an amazing thing. When I go to sleep at night I try to always think of a good thing. I think I will remember this video:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

    Isaiah 6:8

usually I think humanity has not only hit bottom, it got a shovel and started digging.

videos like this restore a little faith, kudos the the kid on the opposing team . he seems to know more about sportsmanship that alot of "professional" athletes

    There's hope yet.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

    Cool video!
I haven’t heard any of the journalists who volunteered to be waterboarded asking to have their fingernails wrenched out with pliers, or electrodes attached to their genitals.

Sportsmanship and compassion go a long way. It's always good to see youngsters embracing both.

    Don't mess with Texas.

Seriously, don't even think about it.

There are still many many decent people left.

    That was very heartwarming.

This was a great video, kinda blurred my screen.

However, this will never happen beyond junior high/high school games.

There are still some people with compassion left in this world. The opposing players parents have to know that the raised their son right.

It may be a cliche, but I'd say both teams were winners!

That young man who passed the ball to the fellow who made the last basket of the game was inspirational as was evidenced by the audience. Sportsmanship was what it was ALL ABOUT. I've seen Professional Players who could take a lesson in Good Sportsmanship from these high school players.

That young man who passed the ball to Mitchell is why I still have "HOPE"

Perhaps it was compassion but I prefer to think of it as HUMANITY & HOPE
