Finally : Convicted of Murder & I Know of Him

This kid was someone who used to play some basketball with us old guys occasionally at the Y.M.C.A a couple years ago. He seemed like a good kid, just wanting or needing some male attention in his life.

Shortly after playing ball with us one week, he shot and killed someone he'd just met for no reason what-so-ever. Kind of sends chills through me because of not knowing he was capable of this, and being that close to someone who would.

I've known two murderers, one a nutcase in school (serial killer), the other a sheriffs deputy (offed his wife). Execution and life, respectively. Go figure.
