Funny or pathetic..Schools locked down over "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme song

Police said a worker calling to confirm a doctor's appointment with an Ambridge High School student heard the theme song to the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" when she attempted to call. The worker said she called police when she misheard the lyrics -- which she claimed said "shooting people outside of school."
The actual lyrics to the song say "shooting some b-ball outside of school."

    It's pathetic...

lol, Ambridge was my old stomping grounds. Was a lot of drug and gang activity back then and it's even worse now.

I was actually shot at for the first time in my life there while walking back to a friends house around 9-10pm... glad their aim sucked.

Really, no words for how ridiculous it's all become. Are people terrified of every.single.thing. now?

Are we still allowed to say, "shooting star" or "shoot for the moon"?

Since when do people sing in their threats?

    Yup, pathetic.

What has happened to Americans that the littlest things either offend us or make us freak out spastically? Or, are those two the same thing these days? Kinda hard to tell with lots of people. Given that this seems to indicate a, shall we say "impeded" psychological development and childish character traits, I'd say we are turning ourselves into children who will one day soon, need someone to take care of them. Who shall it be? Home-grown dictator? Aggressive foreign power? Canada? England?
