Unhappy Boy Suspended From School For Chewing Pop Tart Into A Gun Shape

Child suspended for chewing pastry into shape of gun | KDVR.com ? Denver News, Weather & Sports from FOX 31 News in Denver, Colorado

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 7-year-old Baltimore student is missing school over a pastry gun suspension.
Josh Welch was eating a toaster pastry at school last week when teachers said he shaped the breakfast pastry into a gun with his biting pattern.
“It was already a rectangle and I just kept on biting it and biting it and tore off the top and it kinda looked like a gun but it wasn’t,” Josh told WBFF. “All I was trying to do was turn it into a mountain but it didn’t look like a mountain really and it turned out to be a gun kinda.”
School officials called Josh’s father to explain why his son was in trouble. During that conversation, Josh’s dad said school officials told him they considered Josh’s actions a threat because he said “bang, bang” while holding the pastry.......................

After reading that garbage at least I got to read Rob's response. It made me feel better.

Why am I in a handbasket, and why is it getting warmer?

    Thumbs down

I think it's time to bring back Corporal Punishment. But not for the kids that need it...oh no...I think we need to start lining up these administrators in the public school system and GIVE THEM WHAT FOR till their heinies are BLISTERED RAW!!! Perhaps doing thusly will beat some sense into these Liberal do gooder morphrodites.

Reading snippets of crap like this makes me wanna walk up to a school administrator and drop kick the stupid SOB into the stratosphere.

Not surprising, kids in my school district get suspended if they have an unopened bottle of aspirin.

This is so ridiculous. Common sense has gone out the window with political correctness now running the country. It really is scary and maddening at the same time.

I suppose the teacher and school system wanted to head off any toaster pastry related violence before it happens.

I couldn't agree more. These teachers have lost the ever loving minds!
All I can say is let this happen to one of my kids and I can assure you that they will know who I am really quick and probably wish the hadn't. They will know who my lawyer is too!

So absurd. Just when I think I've seen the dumbest thing ever, they report something even dumber.

And today in my daughters class they discussed that Harriet Tubman carried a pistol all the time. Not exactly sure how it came up. But I got a chuckle out of it. They are also discussing entrepreneurism, I wonder what happens if she mentions I make holsters?
