Surgeons make mortal boo boo's at the rate of more than 100,000 each year. Yet we do not outlaw the Practice of Medicine.

That's why they call it "practicing medicine." But surgeons aren't being legislated out of existence.

Just wait until Obamacare kicks in fully next year.

What I want to know is what are the real stastistics of people who touch wet paint, after reading the 'Wet Paint' warining signs. That would far outnumber the above stastistics, no?

Nice intent, but the "assault rifle" stat is misleading in that it lists the number of shootings rather than deaths in attempt to make the number appear as small as possible.

As responsible, law-abiding citizens we have truth and honesty on our side. Resorting to twisting figures is something I expect from antis, not us.

You are right about handguns killing about twice many people as long guns, knives, blunt objects and bare-handed beatings combined. That is why after the AWB and magazine bans are implemented, handguns will be the next ban target. Hunters, home defenders and sportsmen won't need to worry, though, since 142 different firearms will still be perfectly legal. High-ranking administration officials have determined that double-barrel shotguns are much more effective, and safe for home defense than handguns, anyway. Don't worry, your Second Amendment rights will still be safe."

I would still believe more die in highway traffic incidents rather than are gun related. Besides many of the folks working in statistics are Libturds working in govt facilities. Since I don't trust a Libturd as far as I can throw one I am not apt to believe their statistics either.

Denials, disbelief and name-calling don't hold up one's end of the log very well.

True, but at least they only risk injuring one person at a time. Lawyers practice law and the result is something we all live with.
